Welcome to First Lutheran!

Worship

Sundays @10:00 am

Our Sunday worship is filled with inspiring music, a relevant message, scripture, and more. Holy Communion is served weekly. Every service has meaningful liturgy, traditional hymns and other music, and a sermon that focuses on scripture and God’s good news for us through Jesus.

Coffee and…gathering

We gather in the Fireside Room following service to share refreshments and visit with friends.  Occasionally we offer speakers on timely issues or general interest.  Last year, our twelve mission partners presented about what our gifts do in our community or overseas. Please join us to meet and greet our members!

Evening Service

Our evening service is usually held the first Wednesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. Special Wednesday service have included Camp Worship, Juneteenth Worship, Christmas in July, Valentine Worship, Black History Month Worship, New Beginnings Worship at New Year’s, Story Worship, Renewal Worship, Post-Election Service of Peace and Prayer, as well as worship for Advent and Lent. Summer services in the courtyard are always fun. We will post a special summer worship schedule.

Please check out our newsletter for special offerings.

Children’s Sermons

Twice a month we offer children’s sermons based in the week’s scripture featuring puppets. Join us for these joyful and engaging family worship experiences. Children are always invited to participate in the workship.

Online Option

If you prefer to join us by Zoom for Sunday Worship, we have that option as well!

Healing Service

Throughout the year, Healing Services will be offered on the 5th Sunday of the month. Near the end of the worship service, a portion will be dedicated to physical, emotional and spiritual healing. Come and take time to reflect on Bible verses, light a candle, or share in prayer with the pastor and be anointed with oil. All are welcome!
