The last Tuesday evening of July is designated as the National Night Out. This year it will be held on July 23rd. It is a time for neighbors to gather and get to know one another. First Lutheran is part of this event. In 2012 over 200 people attended. There was food, music presented by Captive Free Christian band, games, jump house, motor cycle police, McGruff the crime dog and more.
