Miracle in the Manger Party
December 8th, 9 a.m. – 10 a.m., Fellowship Hall

You and your children/grandchildren are invited to attend the First Lutheran Church Sunday School’s “Miracle In the Manger” event on Sunday, Dec. 8, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.

Activities will include crafts, games and The Christmas Story. Christmas Stockings will be handed out to children ages 4 to 10.

In order to make sure that all children receive a stocking that is age appropriate, we are asking you to preregister. Contact the office for a registration form, or download one here and email it to the church office at: firstlutheranelca@att.net. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Adults are welcome to attend church while the children attend Sunday School. After church, children and adults can join us for a light lunch. This event is sponsored by the Evangelism Committee, Sunday School Teachers and Operation Christmas Stocking.

Bible Study
Tuesdays, 10-11am, Fireside Room
Join us as we dig deeper into our faith and the Bible each week by exploring and discerning God’s word to us and the life of the whole world. Click here for more information.

Sunday School
September-May, Sundays, 9-10am
Each week your kids are invited to begin the worship service with everyone upstairs before hearing a kid’s message and then heading off to Sunday School. We will be focusing on the Ten Commandments and the Lord’s Prayer this fall!

Confirmation
These classes are open to more than 6th-8th graders – adults are welcome, too! This fall we will explore the Old Testament and begin diving into how our faith impacts our lives. If you would like to dive deeper into your faith contact the church office for more information.

Food Pantry
Fridays, 10am-12 Noon, Fellowship Hall
Every Friday morning we open our doors to the community to be fed physically and spiritually. If you would like to help out with our Food Pantry Ministry simply stop by on Friday morning by 9:45 a.m. and there will be a spot for you to help out! If you, or someone you know, are interested in finding out more about this ministry you can call the church office or you can click here for more Food Pantry information.

Quilting
Wednesdays, 9am-12 Noon, Upper Room
Each week you are welcome to join the quilters as they assemble beautiful quilts for Lutheran World Relief. Every fall we send around 25 quilts overseas to those in need of warmth and shelter. No prior quilting or sewing skills are required!
